Vienna is again the world's most liveable city according to The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) 2023 Global Liveability Index. Vienna tops the ranking in stability, culture, entertainment, and reliable infrastructure.

As in the previous year, the Austrian capital Vienna is once again at the top of the ranking of the world's most livable cities. The metropolis with 1.9 million inhabitants is considered one of the safest cities of all and offers an incomparably high quality of life with its excellent infrastructure, an excellent health system, and a wide range of business and leisure opportunities.
