Welcome to Fiji!

Welcome to Fiji, where happiness comes naturally and the warm Bula spirit reflects in every part of hospitality creating unforgettable holidays. So whether you're looking for adventure, community connection, natural getaways, or recharge and reconnect, Fiji has got just the thing.

The Fijian archipelago is made up of about 333 islands of volcanic origin in the Pacific Ocean. Only 110 islands are inhabited and just two of them, Viti Levu and Vanua Levu, are home to 87% of the population. It is home to people who have been called the friendliest on earth.
Around 90% of the Fijian territory is water. Fiji is also called the “soft coral capital of the world” because it is home to more than 4000 square kilometers of beautifully colored reefs. On the islands, there are tropical forests growing on inactive volcanoes.

Fiji is located south of the equator with a Warm comfortable sub-tropical climate. The average daily temperature is about 26° and 31°C. Evenings in the cooler months can get slightly chillier, but even in the peak summer months it doesn't get unbearably hot.

Believe it or not, on the Fijian island of Taveuni you can time travel. It happens to sit right on the International Dateline! There is a line marked on the floor where you can stand with one foot in today and the other foot in yesterday.

Lodging

Fiji resorts and luxury hotels are nestled on lush islands, among tropical vegetation, boasting the most beautiful beaches with sweeping stretches of pure white sand and striking ocean views. They spoil their guests with an exclusive level of service, exquisite cuisine, exceptional spas and pampering facilities, and world-class amenities. Most resorts if not located on the main island can be reached within a 2-hour ferry or boat ride.

Besides gorgeous Fijian beaches, lush rainforests that are brimming with exotic wildlife, and fascinating coral reefs the islands offer a wide range of unforgettable adventures. Every day is literally a golden opportunity to find happiness in a thousand different experiences. From hiking stunning trails and exploring caves to cooling off in the waterfalls; snorkeling or diving at majestic reefs to surfing legendary breaks; fine dining at adults-only retreats to beach days with the family, Fiji has everything to make your vacation truly unforgettable.

Dining

Fiji’s cuisine reflects its rich multicultural history – blending spices, ingredients, and cooking methods from Melanesian, Indian, Chinese, and European cuisines. This unique fusion of influences along with a profusion of fresh seafood, exotic tropical fruit, and seasonal vegetables makes for an exciting local food and drink scene. Whether you’re cruising the market stalls for coconuts, gorging on smokey, succulent meat from the lovo pit, tucking into a fiery vegetable curry, or sharing a bilo of kava with new friends, there is always something on the menu for everyone to enjoy.

Small Cruises

Cruises

Cruises
One of the best ways to explore the Fiji Islands is with a mini cruise. Small boutique cruise ships are able to anchor at remote coves providing their guests with pristine nature experiences, extensive shore explorations, and visits to traditional Fiji villages to learn about local culture and cuisine. If the dreamy landscape is not enough, the cruise ships also offer plenty of entertainment on board and water sports like the rental of kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, and glass-bottom boat trips.

Floating Bars
A must-do for social butterflies and party animals is spending a day on a two-story floating platform in the middle of the ocean.
